If you are one of the lucky 90 participating in the QuadWheel cup, congratulations! You’ll be notified of your house placement 1-2 weeks prior to the scrimmage. Dress and makeup to show house spirit is encouraged! Skaters should report at 9am on Sunday, Dec. 8th at Fun Galaxy Skating Center at 3030 Cherokee Rd. in Athens, Georgia.
NOTE: This year the QuadWheel Cup will not be co-ed.
What is the QuadWheel Cup, you might ask?
In a magical land at a mystical skating school called Hogfarts, strong athletic women and trans/nonbinary folks compete in the annual QuadWheel Cup, hosted by the Classic City Rollergirls!
Skaters will be sorted among the four Hogfarts houses: SlytherWin, ScufflePuff, RavenBrawl, GryffinScore, or two international competitors: DurmStrong and BeauxBattle. The fiercest skaters from leagues across the land will duke it out until a house of champions stands among the bodies of their defeated rivals proclaiming their victory in a unified voice.
Skaters will compete in four 30-minute scrimmages and registration includes a shirt in the color of your house team. To register, skaters must be either bout eligible with their home league, or have passed 100% of WFTDA MSRs.
Can’t skate, but want to watch? Tickets will be available for $10 at the door and give you all-day access to the scrimmage. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., action begins at 10:00.
