No former skating or sports experience is required. We will teach you how to skate and play roller derby! Love it and want to stick around? You’ll learn more about officially joining the league at the end of the camp. Decide its not your thing? That’s okay! Boot camp requires no commitment. Come try it out! What are you waiting for?
Join us on Saturday mornings and Monday nights for our 6-week new skater bootcamp program, beginning Feb. 15 from 9 am-11:30 am and Feb 17 from 6-9 pm at the Fun Galaxy Roller Rink, 3030 Cherokee Rd, Athens, GA 30605.
Got skates? Great! No skates? No problem. Here’s the scoop on the gear you’ll need:
Skate rentals: $3
Buy your mouthguard from us: $2
Refundable protective gear deposit: $20 (Includes knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards and helmet. You give us $20, we give you gear. At the end of boot camp, you give us back our gear and get back your $20)
