CCRG defeats Tragic City in Season Opener, Ain’t It Tragic

Ain't It Tragic On Saturday, April 10th, the Classic City Rollergirls defeated the Tragic City Rollers 78-60 in front of a record-breaking crowd. The bout featured the debut of rookie skaters Axtual Malice, Slick Kitty, and Skywalker and the return of Dirty Hippie after a season-long hiatus. It was a close bout between the two teams but Classic City played a cleaner game, racking up more points due to their clutch hits and tight skating. An Honorable Mention goes out to Zig Zag who heroically sacrificed a broken ankle in the first 10 minutes of the bout-we hope she will be kickin’ ass in no time! Overall, the bout was exciting and a great start to the season. Come check out the next home bout Saturday, June 5 against the Soul City Sirens (Augusta, GA)!
