CCRG Wants YOU!
Want to see if you've got what it takes to be a rollergirl? Join us at our 2009 Summer Skater Boot Camp. During the camp sessions, new skaters will learn derby basics including skating skills, derby play, and equipment needs. They will also have an opportunity to learn more about the league. No experience is necessary to attend the boot camp but skating skills are a plus.
The Classic City Rollergirls boot camp sessions will take place on May 18, May 27, and June 1. Try-outs will be held on June 15. All sessions are from 7 to 9 pm at Skate-a-Round USA, 3030 Cherokee Road in Athens. Skate rental is $3 per session. If you have knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, a mouth guard, or a helmet, please bring them along; we do have a limited amount of loaner gear. Contact recruitment@classiccityrollergirls.com to register and if you have any questions.
