We couldn’t put on bouts without dedicated volunteers. Volunteers get free entry into the bout in exchange for working a position. We also get free pizza and beer from our sponsor, Coors, after the bout (if you are of age of course). Email us at volunteers@classiccityrollergirls.com.
We have many volunteer positions to fill in order to make our bouts a success:
SECURITY CREW
No experience required, must be 21 years of age, assertive but calm, cool and friendly
NON-SKATING OFFICIAL (NSO) & STATS CREW
Learn and collect skater stats based on WFTDA guidelines. It helps if you have a good eye and the ability to stay focused.
TRACK CREW
Help set up and break down the track and maintain it during the bout. No special skills needed.
DJ
We are looking for someone to DJ our bouts. If you have professional sound equipment, a catalog of music and microphones we want to hear from you.
GENERAL SUPPORT
Do not know what you want to do? Do not have any special skills? That’s OK, we will still put you to work!
TALENT
Are you one of those talented people? Each bout starts with the National Anthem and contains a half time performance. If you think you have what it takes to keep the interest of derby fans, send a sample of your performance and contact information.
